Grounds
Lush gardens, fynbos veld and the backdrop of the Hawequa Mountains are rounded off by the clear water stream that drops into a heart shaped pool. Whether it will be the waterfall, the wind in the pine trees or the fish eagle souring in the sunset, all of creation around you speaks of their Creator.
Some mornings you will wake up with the town and areas below covered in clouds and you feel like taking a leap into the soft cushion of clouds below. Then there are the winter mornings when you don’t want to get out of bed, because a cloud has covered the mountain and you can’t see further than the rose bushes outside. There is a special time, place and situation for every one at Beulah, with opportunity to excercise or to sleep in.
Lecture Hall
A 35 seater air-conditioned lecture hall combined with the freshness of nature offers the best venue for spiritual revival and godly wisdom. This facility includes overhead projector, flipchart stand, TV/video/DVD and music centre.
Prayer Room
There is a true story about a Christian leader that wanted to experience the face of God. He told his wife that she must lock him up in the closet. She was not allowed to open the closet unless she sees a light, indicating the presence of God, shining from underneath the closet door. After a few days she saw a light shining from underneath the closet door. From then onwards, this man started a healing ministry that impacted the world.
The presence of God dwells in this prayer room and one feels like remaining there forever. Something to experience....
We call this room Love.
Main House
Situationed high on a hill, like a lighthouse over the valley below, the main house offers elegant accommodation for those who are in need of care and rest.
The main house offers a lounge/dining room, sun room, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a very special prayer room. The annex offers two bedrooms, bathroom, shower and toilet.
Each room is named after Fruits of the Spirit and special care is taken to make you feel at Home. Special decorations, matching bedding and towelling helps to set the scene for you to feel welcome and much appreciated.
Joy: This is the main room with an en-suite bathroom and a door leading outside onto the balcony. After a bath you can lay and read on your bed, with a unlimited view over the beautiful winelands of the Boland.
Peace: This room is prepared for a family with a double bed and two single beds. The bathroom is accross the passage to give you more privacy, but still makes it with-in close proximity. The Cape–Dutch sliding windows and wooden shutters give a special calmness to this room, where many a family have appeciated the closeness and intimacy it offers.
Patience: If you are looking at increasing your anointing, this room would be that special place of intimacy. In fall it is the olive tree that shares its fruit with you and in autumn you will be the first to see the figs on the fig tree. Two single beds, a small lounge and a desk is part of the furnishings. A sliding door opens onto your own private balcony.
Kindness: This room with its double bed is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is the perfect place to snuggle in and forget about everything around you. To endulge oneself in reading and prayer. An outside door leads onto your own veranda and into the rose garden.
Cottage
Ever dreamed of a cottage in the mountains? This cottage offers accommodation to four people, but that’s not all. Interior decorators would say it’s theme is rustic, we would say it sets the scene for a personal encounter with your Father. Added to that, you get a fully equipped kitchen, shower/toilet, two bedrooms (1 double bed and two single beds) and a fireplace for those cosy winter evenings.
This cottage can also be booked as a self-catering unit. The names of the bedrooms are Goodness (double bed) and Faithfulness (two single beds).
Store House
We received word to "extend your tent pegs" and to "prepare the store houses" for the increase of God’s provision. This in the place to stay if you want to follow the promisses of God.
This building consists of two spacious bedrooms with separate entrances and en suite bathrooms.
The rustic interior creates the right environment for fellowship and building lifelong relationships.
