There is a moment in every life when you have to decide to turn and change direction. A place where your current beliefs are limiting you from receiving and giving love.
Maybe you're there now — running on empty, doing everything right and feeling nothing. Maybe grief has gone quiet inside you because it was too much to keep carrying. Maybe you've decided, somewhere along the way, that you're only worth what you produce. If you keep on saying yes for those beliefs, what are you saying no for?
That place of brokenness is not the end of the story. It's where growth begins. Jonah was thrown from the boat into it. Peter walked back into it, returning to his nets after the cross, trying to out-work his grief. Either way, you arrive at the same door — and you find you cannot walk away from your First Love. In the very moment everything falls apart, you discover how much you love Him, and that a life without Him isn't a life at all.
Return to the Father's Heart is a weekend built around one honest process: naming what you actually feel, uncovering what you actually believe about yourself, walking through real forgiveness, and letting the Father show you how He actually sees you. It combines teaching, honest conversation, guided reflection, and time in nature — held gently by Jacques and Hanneke Truter, who have walked this road with hundreds of others before you.
People leave this weekend having laid down shame they'd carried for years. They leave knowing they are loved, not because of what they do, but because of whose they are.

Jacques and HannekeTruter
Jacques and Hanneke Truter left their careers in finance, research, and change management in 2000 to establish Beulah Christian Retreat, devoting themselves to helping people move from guilt and shame into the full knowledge of who they were created to be. Married 37 years with three children, they combine professional expertise — HR, risk management, and clinical/biostatistical research — with a gentle, coaching-style approach guests describe as safe, non-preaching, and deeply personal. As one participant wrote: "They were a safe place... I felt led into truth in the most gentle of ways."
