“The day I walked into Jacques retreat I was rock bottom, lost, full of guilt and shame. Had no outcome, had no idea where to begin and what my future holds. "I have known Hanneke since 2005 as both a friend and a counsellor. I have done many of their courses and more recently worked through the Love is a Choice material with her. We met on a fortnightly basis for about an hour over video call. This allowed me time to process the relevant material. Hanneke was non judgemental in sharing my personal life story. With her help I was able to identify patterns in my life that was responsible for my default decision making. I was able to identify lies that I believe about myself and formed practical strategies to change the way I think about myself and see myself as a worthy woman the way God sees me. We are married for 32 years and have 3 children. After careers in corporate business we did a step in faith and pursued a spiritual calling by establishing Beulah Christian Retreat as a resource for spiritual growth, rest and restoration. For the past 23 years we have been involved in teaching, counselling and as ministry leaders. We are also qualified neuro coaches and trade by the name of The Spiral Viewpoint (Pty) Ltd
